PhotoParcel is a founder-operated service based in Missouri. Contact: privacy@photoparcel.co.
What PhotoParcel does
PhotoParcel helps you review photos on your iPhone, approve a physical print collection, pay for it, and mail it to yourself or someone you choose.
Information we process
- On your device: photo-library metadata, thumbnails, suggested selections, crops, and unapproved drafts. Broad-library analysis stays on your device.
- After you approve: only the print-ready photos selected for that order are uploaded.
- For delivery: recipient name, relationship, postal address, and related collection, order, shipment, subscription, and support information.
- For payment: Stripe and Apple Pay process payment credentials. PhotoParcel does not store raw card numbers.
- For account recovery: monthly and yearly plans use Sign in with Apple. We store the account identifier and an encrypted Apple refresh token so authorization can be revoked when you delete your account. Apple may provide a private-relay email address.
- Optional analytics: only after you turn them on. These are typed interaction events, never photos, recipients, addresses, free text, payment data, or order identifiers.
How we use information
We use information only to operate, secure, support, fulfill, reconcile, and improve the service; comply with law; and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for advertising or to train models.
Who we share it with
We share only the information needed by providers that deliver the service:
- Supabase: application backend and private storage
- Stripe and Apple Pay: payment processing
- Selected print providers, including local photo labs during the founder pilot: printing only the approved order
- Delivery carriers, including the U.S. Postal Service: mailing and delivery
- PostHog: optional analytics, only if you enable it
- Service providers used for customer support, email, security, and operational monitoring
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, or as part of a business transaction where the recipient must continue to protect the information.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, fulfill and support orders, secure the pilot, and meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, refund, and dispute obligations. Approved print files are not kept for advertising or model training. Print providers may retain submitted files under their own operational policies.
The in-app Delete action requests deletion of private photo objects, cancels active recurring billing, revokes Sign in with Apple authorization, removes the service account, and clears local app data. It does not delete photos from Apple Photos.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of service data, withdraw analytics consent, and cancel your subscription. We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. Contact privacy@photoparcel.co if the in-app controls do not resolve your request.
Security, children, transfers, and changes
We protect information with encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, limited access, and short-lived private photo links. PhotoParcel is intended for adults in the United States and is not directed to children. Providers may process information in other locations subject to contractual and legal safeguards. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
